Yammer’s New Year Lineup

Here at Yammer House we have a massive New Year planned. Our crack team of writers will be going into overdrive and churning out three articles per day, and our other content producers will be releasing podcasts at a rate of knots.

No, I don’t even believe that myself.

The situation is actually as follows:

- Our beloved leader, The General, is on holiday

- The Chattering Fools podcast is due to release a new episode on New Year’s Day, but they haven’t managed a fortnightly release up to this point so I’m not expecting much on that score.

- Our crack team of writers is neither crack, nor a team. I'm it.

The upshot of all of this is that until Rani returns (supposedly on the 11th, but I have my doubts) I’m all you’ve got. I am Yammer.

Fuck.

Now, I’m not a complete muppet. In fact, I have a detailed plan for filling the next two and a half weeks (Christ, it sounds even longer when written like that). The content on offer is:

24 December: You’re reading it (the plan looks better with this included)

Boxing Day: Fantasy Football

27-31 December: Who knows*

1 January: Chattering Fools podcast due (Ha! Not bloody likely methinks).

2-7 January: Who knows continues*

8 January: A piece of “investigative” blogging

11 January: The General returns (maybe)

*For the record, who knows means that there will be some content, I just don’t know what it will be yet. It won’t all be football though, the boss-man was complaining at me about that the other day when he rang to tell me I was on my own. What a dick.

Please direct any complaints about this rather sparse schedule to Rani, our beloved leader here at Yammer. It was him who left the place with a skeleton staff of one underpaid (read: not paid at all) and overworked blogger for weeks on end so that he could sit on his lazy butt and work on growing his increasingly large pot belly.
