Told You, Didn't I?

On Saturday at Approximately 7:05 The Crusaders and Chiefs began the first finals for the Super Rugby Aotearoa. Some may argue that last years one was the first Super Rugby Aotearoa, but we all know that 200 never counted, doesn't exist, and never happened.

After 80 Minutes and 31 Seconds of great rugby playing, and whatever the Chiefs were doing, the game came to an easy and predictable ending. The Crusaders won, 24 - 13, although the score really isn't as good as it could be. That doesn't matter though, they suck, and we are the best, there's the simple reason that we are the winners of the New Zealand Super Rugby, securing our place as the best Region in not only the Country, but in the world, at Rugby.

Now let's focus on a few things that I've noticed while watching the game and the highlights, One player has stood out among the incredible Canterbury team. Richie Mo'unga managed to score 14 points out of the 24 the Crusaders scored against the Chiefs. This being more than the total the Chiefs ended up scoring only 13, is hilarious that one player can score more than the entire excuse of a team they have. The 14 points Mo'unga scored came from a Conversion, Three Penalty goals, and One Drop-Goal, Showing off just how great his Kicking game is.

Oh yeah, Did I mention the Crusaders had two players off the field at a certain point in the game, Both Codie Taylor and Sevu Reece being yellow carded, reducing us to 13 players and forcing us to rely on Mo'unga to keep our score high enough for the Chiefs to not be a threat. Imagine not being able to win a rugby game against 13 players, Must be the Chiefs.

Let's all be completely honest the Blues would have actually been a team that could have shown everybody what a New Zealand Super Rugby final should look like, and that you have to bring your A game, Rather than what the Chiefs brought.
