The End of an Era: Goodbye, for now, Major Mong.

Finn (called Major Mong on Yammer House) has been a friend of mine for years now. We met at High School and shared a few common interests. He has been on the Yammer House Bloggers page the entire time. It is time, though, to say goodbye for now. Finn is officially leaving Yammer House as a blogger.

Finn did only release one blog, but it was worth a read. I recommend reading it, for sure. His content contribution may not have been enormous, but in reality there is a legitamate point to say that without Finn, I wouldn't have started Yammer House. I initially pitched the idea to him and he was on board. We didn't even have this particular website, we had a different one. I found him motivating. We were in the middle of a nationwide lockdown and we decided that starting a blog (originally named Yap Camp) would be the best way to kill time. It worked. We did kill time.

I wish him well. Although we haven't been able to turn Yammer House into what we once dreamed it would be, I will support him in his endeavours because that's what my job is, as a friend. If you ever need a band, be sure to hit up Black Sale House. They're on Facebook, they're on Instagram and recently released a single on Spotify. They're killing it and I'm happy for how this is turning out for Finn.

He will always have a place at Yammer House. This is his home. He will say he didn't do much of the building, but we both definitely put down the foundations for the website you are reading on today. This does mean I have to find someone new for Yammer House Otago before we launch there, but that's okay.

Do well, Finn. Remember me when you're famous.
