Maybe Brett Brown Wasn't the Problem

The Philadelphia 76ers ended their first ten games of the season with a record of 7-3 (for those of you who prefer the percentage but somehow can't figure it out from a record like that... It's .700) and it seemed okay Minus a few unfortunate yet inexcusable losses, these team looked unstoppable. It has to be said though after today... Maybe firing the Coach wasn't the solution Elton Brand (the moron of a GM we have) thought it would be.

I like Doc Rivers don't get me wrong, but I didn't think it was the right time to get a new head coach like Doc. Billy Donovan was literally on the table and we chose Doc? I rate Coach Billy Donovan and what he did in OKC. He's in Chicago now, but imagine the pick up he would've been for Philly. Huge. The best thing to do now is what we've done as Sixers fans for years... Hide, cry and deny. Hideaway from the fact that we will continue to suck. Cry about the fact that we will continue to suck. Deny that we will continue to suck.

Realistically though, we do suck. We lost fair and square against Cleveland because Joel had "back stiffness" again. Then after sorting our crap, we decided it would be perfect to go on a three-game losing streak against the Nets, Nuggets and Hawks. That stinks. I don't care we were made to play with only seven active players against Denver. We are so predictable after all these years. I hate it. It was so easy to blame Brett Brown for it because he was the scapegoat. It had to be his fault so we didn't have to stare down the real reasons for the mediocrity in this organisation. The work ethic sucks.

I personally want Elton Brand gone. He stinks. He was a better basketball player somehow. I just don't like his face or really anything about him. What a moron, but that's exactly why he fits in Philly.

Philly will make Conference Finals ;)
