I didn't want to write this blog.

I didn't think it was possible that my team could lose to Rani.

I disrespected his team. I disrespected his players. I disrespected his infatuation with Kelly Oubre Jr... I wasn't respectful at all and to be honest I didn't think I needed to be.

I thought only an Act of God or crazy injury luck would lead to a situation where my Fantasy team would lose to his.

Unfortunately last week that is exactly what happened. The Charlotte Hornets caught COVID, Christian Wood sprained his ankle and Luka "MVP Doncic was stuck in a freakin snowstorm that shut down the whole of Texas!

The impossible happened but given we've just been through 2020 it's not entirely a surprise...

A win is a win and credit goes to Rani.

Deep down though he should be worried. There are bigger fish than me on the horizon and although the Bisons aren't dead, they are still very much on the endangered species list.

His team is still 3-6 and it took a snowstorm, COVID and the game of Darius Garland's life to sneak past and grab that W.
