Minecraft got Updated

Recently the popular game, Minecraft, has gotten a rather large update, Now compared to some of the updates it has had, The Nether Update, The Village and Pillage update etc. This update was the first of two parts for the Cave and Cliffs update, This involved some major updates to Mining Ores, New mobs, New Blocks and New items to play with. I'm not going into too much detail about any specific parts of the Update, I'm just going to explain what the best parts of the update are, and Why they are the best things that have been added.

So three new mobs were added to Minecraft in the recent update and I'm all for them. The three mobs are Axolotls, Goats and Glow Squids. The Axolotls and the Glow Squids are both new aquatic animals and are beautiful creatures, even though it is just a game, they look amazing and are really cool creatures, the axolotls have a bunch of cool abilities, such as playing dead to hide from threats. The Goats are the only land animal added to the new update, and they are also some really cool animals, having the ability to Jump really high for no apparent reason and then ram any mob and/or person they decide to, because why not?

Another feature added to the game is based off of the pickaxe enchantment called Fortune, what fortune does is increases the drops of any mineable ores that drop ingots, such as Diamonds, lapis lazuli, and Redstone. What the update changed was changing Iron and Gold now both drop the raw version of themselves, and mean that Fortune is able to increase how much they are able to drop. They also changed the textures of all of the ores except for Diamond ore and Quartz ore, Leaving none of the ores to have the same texture now.

These are all the important things about the recent Minecraft update, and all the things you really need to pay any attention to. The other added things are good and I'm not saying they are bad additions, they just don't look good at all compared to these great updates to the game.
