I just walked into the lounge as my Dad was watching the news, and it happened to be the sports section. In addition to seeing that the Crusaders beat the Highlanders, I learnt that the LPGA has started up for the year.
Now, given that I have no interest in golf I don’t actually care about that.
What I do care about though is that today’s tournament was also Lydia Ko’s comeback from injury. Well, actually I don’t really care about that either. What I care about is what the injury was. It was a “nose injury”.
Yes, you read that correctly. A nose injury.
I mean, I can’t be the only one who thinks that’s ridiculous, right? Her nose surely has no bearing on her ability to swing a golf club.
Insane.
Anyway, that’s today’s sporting news.
Oh, and England apparently suck at cricket.
